Rob was home for 2 weeks from Iraq for R&R. So here are pictures!

Made my first order today from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. 12 samples, whee!
BLISS
A shot of pure, self-indulgent euphoria! A scent that is very, very wicked in its own way: the serotonin-slathered scent of pure milk chocolate.
JUKE JOINT
A bawdy, gleefully wicked and unruly scent: Kentucky Bourbon, sugar and a sprig of mint.
SWANK
Simply cool, the essence of Lounge: the scent of a crisp pomegranate martini.
EMBALMING FLUID
A light, pure scent: white musk, green tea, aloe and lemon.
GLUTTONY
Thick, sugared and bloated with sweetness. Dark chocolate, vanilla, buttercream, and hops with pralines, hazelnut, toffee and caramel.
DIRTY
A wonderful antidote to an all-nighter oozing with drunken, addled perversion and debauchery. A fresh, crisp white linen scent: perfectly clean, perfectly breezy.
VICE
Voluptuous and indulgent! A deep chocolate scent, with black cherry and orange blossom.
KUANG SHI

[::..Busy busy!..::]
Tomorrow I am going to Columbia, SC for a workshop on using drama and audience participation in storytimes, which should be fun. :)
And the great news....this weekend I get to pick up my husband from the airport! We get two weeks before he gets shipped back to the Middle Easy.

[::..New Door!..::]
I have a new front door!
Notice the broken doorbell? Yeah, the guy was all apologetic, but I'm sure that doorbell has been here since the house was built 40-odd years ago, so I can't say I'm that worried about it. It's just another item on Rob's To-Do List!
It's all bright and shiny and new, but I'm sure it won't stay that way for long. It needs to be painted, but we'll have to wait till the spring when it's warmer.
The cats are all freaked, thinking they did something wrong to be locked downstairs for a few hours, so they are especially loving right now.
While I'm at it, here's some pictures of my neighbor's shingles all over my backyard.
